ULusófona short selected for one of the biggest festivals in Portugal

The short film "Foi Com O Mar", directed by Matilde César, has been selected for IndieLisboa – International Film Festival, one of the most prestigious independent film events in Portugal.

Developed as part of an individual project during her final academic year, the film is a poetic reflection on distance, loss, and the fragility of life, metaphorically portrayed through a fallen garden and a sea that swallowed it.

"Foi Com O Mar" is part of the festival’s official selection and will be screened in the following sessions: IndieLisboa website.

This selection is an important recognition of the filmmaker’s work and the creative path developed throughout her studies.
