Manuel José Damásio He is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Film and Media Arts Department at Lusófona University.
He holds a vast experience in consulting and production concerning several areas of the field of audiovisual and multimedia production. He is the author of several papers and chapters in international peer-reviewed publications and was the principal investigator in numerous international R&D projects. He is the chair of GEECT – the European association of film and media schools and a member of the board of CILECT - International association of film and media schools. He is the coordinator of FilmEU.

Alexander Matthias Gerner - German philosopher, author, curator, dramaturge and researcher based in Portugal. Ph.D. in History and Philosophy of Science (University of Lisbon) on Philosophical Investigations of Attention. Adjunct Professor at Universidade Lusófona and researcher at CICANT. Member of FilmEU European University alliance and PQI. Research and teaching focus on philosophy of technology, media, and art. Explores artistic research, sonic thinking, dramaturgies of alterity, green ethics, and aesthetic experience. Investigates human-machine co-creativity, persuasive technologies, and AI avatars' impact on identity, temporality, embodiment, and social interaction. Published on AI aesthetics, attention, cognitive enhancement, and human-technology interfaces. Current projects include a documentary film, analysis of Arte(f)actors, uncanny aesthetics of AI companions and virtual influencers, and exploration of techno-commons and Climate Theatre probing human-AI collaboration.

Diogo Rato - is the co-founder of Testwaves, a company tackling Quality Assurance and Playtesting for game developers, and he is the Executive Director of the Portuguese Game Developer Association (APVP). In 2023, Diogo earned his Ph.D. from Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, after defending his thesis, "Procedurally Generated Societies." He coordinated Técnico’s Game Laboratory from 2016 to 2020. In 2020, he founded the junior game studio GameDev Técnico and managed it for two years. His research focuses on AI, Social Cognition, Procedural Content Generation, Interactive Storytelling, and Intelligent Virtual Agents.
