On September 9th, FilmEU reached another milestone with the launch of the first cohort of the Erasmus Mundus Master ReSound in Dublin, Ireland. Coordinated by IADT, this two-year, four-semester programme places sound at the centre as a fully developed discipline and a gateway to exploring its deep relationship with image, space, and experience. ReSound prepares graduates to work across a wide range of industries—from cinema and immersive media to video games, live events, and beyond—opening up diverse career opportunities.
Partners from Lusófona University and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre travelled to Dublin to meet the new students and welcome them on this exciting journey.
The welcome programme concluded with a joint celebration alongside students from two other Erasmus Mundus Masters: Kino Eyes, currently with a team of six students working on their final project, and FilmMemory, whose full class is now in their third semester.
This new beginning reflects FilmEU’s commitment to fostering excellence in education, research, and artistic practice, while strengthening collaboration across Europe. Together, these joint programmes continue to empower the next generation of creative professionals to shape the future of the cultural and creative industries.
