On September 26, 2025, FilmEU – the European University for Film and Media Arts – took part in the European Researchers’ Night at the National Museum of Natural History and Science (MUHNAC) in Lisbon. The event, held under the theme “Science for Global Challenges,” brought together thousands of visitors eager to explore how research connects with society.
As part of the activities coordinated by the Universidade Lusófona, FilmEU highlighted the collaborative work being developed within its European alliance. The initiative served as a platform to share FilmEU’s vision of strengthening cooperation between education, research, and the creative industries across Europe.
Visitors were invited to explore FilmEU’s joint degree programmes, mobility opportunities, and a range of interdisciplinary projects that unite students, teachers, and researchers from partner institutions. The stand featured examples of how FilmEU integrates artistic creation with applied research and pedagogical innovation — bridging cinema, media arts, and technology.
Through engaging demonstrations and conversations, the FilmEU team presented the alliance’s ongoing efforts to build a shared European ecosystem for film and media education, where knowledge, creativity, and innovation intersect. The event provided a valuable moment to connect with the public, strengthen community engagement, and highlight FilmEU’s contribution to shaping the future of higher education in the creative sector.
