FilmEU Launches Landmark Position Paper on the Impact of AI on Future Jobs in Film and Media
The European University FilmEU is proud to announce the launch of its first-ever position paper, developed through its pioneering AGORA think tank initiative.
Led by the dedicated Work Package 5 – PEOPLE, AGORA brought together a dynamic group of eight academics and sixteen students from across the FilmEU consortium. Over several months, the group engaged in intensive discussions, workshops, and exchanges with guest speakers from both the AI and film and AV industry and academia, sharing knowledge and best practices.
The result is a groundbreaking position paper exploring The Impact of AI on Future Jobs in Film and Media. This document reflects the collective expertise, creativity, and forward-thinking vision of the Alliance, and serves as both an educational resource and a thought-provoking contribution to wider debates on the future of work in the creative industries.
By addressing one of the most urgent challenges facing film and media education and practice, this position paper will not only inspire the FilmEU community but also resonate with educators, practitioners, and policymakers well beyond the Alliance.
