FilmEU at RUN-EU Day at Politécnico de Leiria
On 16 October, the Politécnico de Leiria will host RUN-EU Day, an event dedicated to presenting the Regional University Network (RUN-EU), a European university network co-founded and co-led by the institution. The programme features activities, debates, and workshops for students, faculty, and the wider communities of Leiria, Peniche, and Caldas da Rainha.
This year’s event will focus on “European Values”, with a special emphasis on students as agents of change. Highlights include the workshop “Communicating European Values in the Context of European Universities” at 11:00 in the School of Health auditorium, featuring experts from several European universities, including Anna Coutinho (FilmEU / Universidade Lusófona), Ana Vaz Ferreira (BAUHAUS4EU / Politécnico de Castelo Branco), Maria do Carmo Gomes (PIONEER / ISCTE), and João dos Santos (RUN-EU / Politécnico de Leiria).
FilmEU’s participation underscores the alliance’s commitment to international collaboration and sharing best practices in film and media arts education, promoting European values and strengthening the network of partner universities.
