From October 7 to 10, 2026, Lusófona University will host the ERRAR conference, featuring photography, artistic, and practice-based research projects, alongside dedicated sessions for the FilmEU community.

On October 8, Cinema Fernando Lopes will host panel «7. On Essayism», starting at 4:15 PM with a brief introduction led by chair Isolde Vanhee. This will be followed by presentations from Arne De Winde and Lennert De Vroey, with «Highlights Stage 3 Vuelta a España: Gruissan-Font Romeu, 174 stills», and Katarína Mišíková, who will address the theme «Cinematic Essayism as a Method of Artistic Research into Reality». On Essayism is a dynamic cluster promoted by FilmEU.

The following day, on October 9, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, DELLI (room S.0.1) will host a workshop also integrated into the European project «On Essayism». Led by Universidade Lusófona faculty members Hugo Barata and Paulo T. Silva, the session will run under the theme «Anarchives, Constellations, and other Atlases».
