DocNomads Master's Programme Approved for Erasmus Mundus Funding
The DocNomads master's programme was recently evaluated and approved by the European Commission in the competitive selection process for the renewal of funding for Erasmus Mundus joint master's programmes. This approval guarantees the programme's continued status as a European quality standard for documentary film studies, achieving a score of 89 out of 100.
Led by LUCA School of Arts (Belgium), the consortium also includes Lusófona University (Portugal) and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre – LMTA (Lithuania), providing students with a unique international experience, with compulsory mobility between the three countries over four intensive semesters.
The European Commission's decision is proof of the programme's excellence, which stands out for its artistic, practical and multicultural approach to documentary filmmaking. The new version will continue to attract applications from around the world, promoting diversity, creative collaboration and critical thinking in the world of cinema.
