DocNomads film awarded in FIPADOC, France

THE SILENCE OF THE BANANA TREES the graduation film of Eneos Çarka (DocNomads), a student from Albania, won the TËNK PRIZE to the best documentary in the YOUNG CREATION competition at FIPADOC – International Film Festival Biarritz held in France between 20 and 28 of January.

Synopsis:

Mihály Fekete has filled his house with art works made by his daughter Réka, with whom he hasn't spoken in years. Her decision to keep distance from her father is painful for him, especially since she is terminally ill. Despite his sorrow, he has resigned himself to do as she wishes. The film encourages Réka to change her decision.
