The FilmEU CineClub returns next week with screenings of the documentary Cooking History by Peter Kerekes (2009).
Cooking History is a fascinating documentary that explores the role of military cooks in shaping the course of 20th-century European warfare.
Through a blend of interviews, re-enactments, and dark humour, the film features personal stories from army chefs who served during key historical conflicts, including World War II, the Yugoslav Wars, and the Soviet occupation.
