João Alves has a degree in Sound Sciences and Technologies and a Master in Sound Production and Technology. He is the Mastering Engineer/owner of Sweet Mastering Studio and a freelancer in the areas of music composition, audio post-production and sound recording. As a Mastering Engineer, he has collaborated with Derek Jerome, Zé Perdigão, Custódio Castelo, Remigio Pereira, Guilherme Valente, Mac MacKenzie, Humberto Ríos, Pablo Rodriguez, Lisbon Film Orchestra, Camerata de Sopros Silva Dionísio, etc.. He did the audio post-production on the feature films “Sita - The Life and Death of Sita Valles”, “The Art Of Dying Far Away”, “UnderStory” and “Dialogue of Shadows”. He also collaborated in advertising productions as a composer or in audio post-production in ads for Sic, CMTV, Bolt, Uber, FreeNow, EDP, UAU, etc..
