Gitte Nørgaard serves as Dean of Storytelling, Design and Business at VIA University College. She brings more than two decades of senior leadership experience from multiple educational institutions and has a long track record of working with creative, innovative and cross‑sector projects.
Her background includes executive roles within education, organisational development, and digital learning, as well as experience leading large cultural and community‑based initiatives. She has also held several board and advisory positions within the Danish cultural and educational landscape.
As dean at VIA, she is responsible for guiding the strategic development of creative programmes across film, animation, design and business. Her focus areas include educational quality, strong partnerships, innovation, sustainability, and ensuring close links between research, practice and the creative industries.
