Dirk Hoyer is a screenwriter, researcher, filmmaker and Associate Professor at BFM in Tallinn. As a director of several documentaries, writer of award-winning screenplays and academic articles, Dirk’s expertise revolves around storytelling, political imaginaries, and film history. His latest book, “Retopia – Creating New Spaces of Possibility” was published by Routledge in 2023.
