The course introduces students to prominent important events in the field of animated cinema, animation directors and key works. It provides theoretical knowledge about the specificity, aesthetics, technology and the process of building an animated work, about the development of the animated image as a synthetic image. The course also provides knowledge about basic professional terminology in the aesthetic field - kinetic potential of the drawing, pictorial characteristics of the animated film, specificity and variability of the image and artistic image in animation. The course includes both theoretical training and examines the various animation techniques in a practical sense.
