WANTED: LECTURERS OF FILM AND ALL THINGS STORY-RELATED
Changemaker – Pitching for Change is a yearly student pitching program and competition in which students get the opportunity to train their pitching skills and learn how to better communicate their stories for the screen and beyond.
The students get pitch training, the possibility to travel internationally and present their pitches live on-stage in front of an audience and a panel of industry professionals at the FilmEU Industry Summit in Dublin, October 2026.
As part of the program and during their stay in Dublin, the Changemaker students will have the possibility to connect with film professionals.
“I received very helpful feedback from the jury about my story and the structure of my pitch. Now I see much more clearly which parts can be improved and how to make the whole thing stronger. I also got new ideas for the future of my project, became more comfortable pitching in a new setting, and made so many new connections with students and professionals.”
About the webinar
The event is created by the FilmEU WP8 – Changemaker group addressed towards teachers and staff to unfold this year’s edition of Changemaker.
The Changemaker group wants to make material available to teachers to involve them in engaging the students; both so that they can work with the materials in their classrooms and to inspire students to apply for the Changemaker program.
Theme: Changemaker – “Exploring the Natural Worlds”
Pitching for Change is structured around an annual theme that provides a conceptual framework enabling students to explore diverse approaches to storytelling. In the webinar we will unfold the theme: “Exploring the Natural Worlds”, which encourages stories related to nature and science.
