The International Journal of Film and Media Arts Achieves Q2 Ranking in Visual Arts Field

The International Journal of Film and Media Arts (IJFMA) has achieved a significant milestone by reaching the Q2 rank in the prestigious Scimago Journal & Country Rank within the field of Visual Arts.

Published as an open-access journal, IJFMA is proudly supported by FilmEU - European University and the Film and Media Arts Department at Lusófona University in Lisboa, Portugal. It operates as a semiannual publication dedicated to advancing research and critique across all film and media arts areas.

Since 2020, the editorial board has been steadfast in their commitment to elevating IJFMA's standing within the academic community. This dedication bore fruit when, in June 2020, IJFMA secured indexation in Scopus by Elsevier, along with inclusion in various other reputable databases.
