Lusófona University Takes Center Stage at the Launch of the GamingHub Lisbon

On 19th December, the Unicorn Factory Lisbon unveiled its first dedicated project focused solely on games called the GamingHub. A dedicated space for the incubation of start-up game developer companies and a centre for the support and stimulation of game developing communities in Lisbon.

Prof. Phil Lopes – professor and lecturer of the videogame course at Lusófona University - was invited to moderate the roundtable which included game company executives (Jefferson Valadares, Nuno Folhadela, Alexandre Amancio) and international investors (Shanti Bergel) looking to increase the gaming market in Lisbon. The prominence of Lusófona at the event further emphasises it’s initiative in forging robust connections with the gaming industry, fostering collaborative initiatives, and bridging academia with the dynamic world of gaming to empower students with hands-on experience and industry-relevant skills.
