A Short Film in the Spotlight: Competing for the Top Prize at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival

History repeats itself with a golden palm branch gracing the frame of a Lithuanian film once more! This time, it's a short film vying for the top prize in the short film competition at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.

We are especially thrilled to announce that "Ootide," directed by Eglė Razumaitė, a talented MA 2nd year student in film directing at the National Film School of LMTA, in collaboration with Lineta Lasiauskaitė, a BA 4th year student in film production, Auksė Jurevičiūtė, MA 2nd year in sound design, alongside Nojus Drąsutis, a recent graduate from the BA in cinematography, has made it to this prestigious platform.
