Afonso Brandão, born in 2003, is an avid film enthusiast and a current film student at Lusófona University. As a member of the FilmEU Audiovisual Team, his cinematic journey began early when he discovered his passion for storytelling and filmmaking through a YouTube channel where he showcased short videos.
While at school, he penned a script for a short film on his channel, receiving positive feedback that solidified his passion for creating narratives through film. Post high school, he successfully participated in and won a scholarship contest, leading to diverse projects, such as advertisements, short films, documentaries, interviews, videoclips, recaps, and more.
In his final year of university, Afonso founded his production company, AfteREC, which has already attracted a diverse range of clients.
